The young people at First United Methodist Church Bridgeport are selling stocks to raise money for a summer mission trip. We are also collecting funds to provide our graduating members with a scholarship to help fund college or trade school tuition. We are accepting donations. Write "scholarship" in the memo of your check. Please mail your donation to:

Crafty Ladies will meet on Monday, May 7th at 10 am. We will make craft projects for nursing and assisted living facilities.

Mary Escobar serves as a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church. Commissioned in October 2012, she is currently serving as director of Mary Jo Phillips Day Care, a Methodist day care for young children in a poor neighborhood of Asunción, Paraguay.

Cost Rica Mission Trip July 12-22, 2013

The Costa Rica mission team will be selling Costa Rican coffee to raise money for (VBS, Construction, etc.) supplies to be used on the mission trip, July 12-22.

All supplies are bought in Costa Rica. This allows us to support the local economy and we do not have to worry about shipping supplies there.

Don’t forget, ladies, we will meet Monday, April 15th at 10 a.m. We will be making craft projects to be delivered to the nursing and assisted living facilities.

Give back to our community by donating items to our Food Pantry! Items can be deposited outside the Sanctuary.
