Pantry Express: October 14, 2021

pantry express

Pantry Express was a success! Thank you to our 22 volunteers who came out to help direct traffic, register folks, set up tables, unload the truck, put out food, fill up grocery carts, load up cars, and keep us supplied with boxes and cleanup.

You are all a blessing. This ministry is not possible without your love, hands, feet and smiles.

We served 168 families consisting of 672 people.

Thank you Cindy Horn for bringing us donuts and pigs in a blanket for breakfast! Thank you Middle School staff for sharing their parking lot with us. Thank you Lowe’s for providing boxes and tape.

Please keep Paul Boaz, Vonne, and Rick Walton and their team serving meals in Louisiana in your prayers. They served 5,200 meals in 3 days. That team recently moved to a new town that had no electricity. Remember the people affected by the hurricane as well as the utility workers and civil servants who work long, hard hours trying to restore normal living conditions.

Hope you all have a wonderful September.

Mark your calendars for our next Pantry Express day on October 14, 2021.
