I am amazed at the pictures that have come from the Hubble Telescope. The beauty and vastness of creation is wonderfully mind-boggling. I am thankful to be part of such a spectacular creation. My faith tells me that I am an important piece of all this life and beauty. And so are all of us. If we are not careful, the only importance in the universe becomes ourselves and those we choose to be connected to by a love that serves only our self.

In all of this wonder and beauty, two things in particular come to mind. The Creator, the Lord our God, has such a great love and interest in each of us. It’s really quite remarkable and calming to our soul to be loved by the one who made all things. The other is the reminder that God loves others and expects us to do likewise. This Sunday, we will take a look take a look at the power of the love of God as we walk through the challenges of life through the words of Ezekiel 37:1-6.
